Deposit Limits

How to set a deposit limit

1. Log in to your wg8 account.
2. Go to Account Settings → Responsible Gaming.
3. Select Deposit Limit and choose your time period (daily / weekly / monthly).
4. Enter the maximum amount in ৳ (BDT) and confirm.

A limit takes effect immediately. If you want to decrease your limit, the change is applied straight away. If you want to increase it, wg8 enforces a 7-day cooling period before the higher limit becomes active. This protects you from impulsive decisions made during a losing streak.

The minimum deposit on wg8 is ৳500, so any limit you set must be at or above that value per session you intend to play. If you are unsure what limit to set, start with a figure that matches one week's entertainment budget — an amount you would be comfortable losing entirely.

Cooling-Off Period

A cooling-off period temporarily suspends your ability to deposit and play on wg8. It is useful when you feel you need a short break without committing to full self-exclusion.

Available durations: 24 hours, 48 hours, 7 days, or 30 days. During a cooling-off period your account remains open and you can still view your transaction history, but deposits and bets are blocked. You cannot cancel a cooling-off period once it has started — this is intentional.

To activate a cooling-off period, contact wg8 Live Chat or use the Responsible Gaming section in your account settings. The support agent will confirm activation immediately.

Self-Exclusion

Self-exclusion is a stronger measure. When you self-exclude from wg8, your account is fully blocked for the duration you choose: 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, or indefinitely.

During self-exclusion:

• You cannot log in, deposit, or place bets.
• wg8 will suppress any promotional emails or bonus offers to your account.
• Any remaining balance is frozen and will be returned to your verified payment method after the exclusion period ends and KYC is confirmed.

Self-exclusion cannot be lifted early. If you choose a 6-month self-exclusion, the block stays in place for the full 6 months regardless of any requests to reopen the account. This is a safeguard, not a punishment.

To request self-exclusion, email [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request" from the email address linked to your account, or ask a Live Chat agent. The block is applied within 1 hour of the request being received.

Permanent Account Closure

If you want to close your wg8 account permanently, email [email protected] with the subject line "Permanent Account Closure". State clearly that you wish to close your account for responsible gaming reasons. Your account will be closed and your remaining balance returned within 6 hours of the first withdrawal review. Once closed, your email address cannot be used to open a new wg8 account.

Session Reminders

wg8 offers session time reminders that display a notification after a set period of continuous play — for example, every 30 minutes or every hour.
