Game Rules & Betting
Baccarat
Two hands are dealt — Player and Banker. You bet on which hand totals closer to 9, or on a Tie. Cards 2–9 count at face value; 10, J, Q, K count as zero; Ace counts as 1. If a total exceeds 9, only the second digit counts (e.g., 15 = 5). No skill decisions after the initial bet — the dealer follows a fixed draw rule.
- Player bet pays 1:1.
- Banker bet pays 0.95:1 (5% commission).
- Tie bet pays 8:1 but carries high house edge — most players avoid it.
Roulette
A wheel with numbered pockets (0–36 in European Roulette) spins one way; a small ball spins the other. You bet before the dealer calls "no more bets." Bet types range from a single number (pays 35:1) to Red/Black or Odd/Even (pays 1:1). European Roulette has a lower house edge than the American version — wg8 offers both via Evolution tables.
Teen Patti
A South Asian three-card game similar to poker. Each player (and the dealer) receives three cards. You compare your hand against the dealer's. Standard hand rankings: Trail (three of a kind) → Pure Sequence → Sequence → Colour → Pair → High Card. You can play "seen" (look at your cards) or "blind" (without looking, with lower forced bets). Winning against the dealer pays 1:1 on the ante.
Andar Bahar
A fast Indian card game. The dealer places one "joker" card face up. Cards are then dealt one at a time to two piles — Andar (inside) and Bahar (outside). Your bet is on which pile gets a card matching the joker's value first. Main bet pays around 0.9:1 on Andar (the statistically more likely side) and 1:1 on Bahar. Side bets on the number of cards dealt before a match are also available.
Starting small is smart. All live tables at wg8 allow bets from ৳1–৳2 on most game modes (see limits table below). There is no pressure to bet large during your first few sessions.
